Speed
“How long does it take to quote using Bizmantools?”
It depends: The new 2D drawing is as fast as or faster than any system out there, the older template system can be slow to set-up but once this is done the system is fast.

Comparison to other software
“How does Bizmantools compare with other quoting software you’ve used?”
Because I control every aspect of how the program calculates component dimensions and costings, I can set it up to work as we do and produce cutting lists that don’t need to be reworked when I get the job.
Alias System
“Do you find the Bizmantools alias system useful?”
Yes. When we re-cost a product using final dimensions, we do this as an alias of the original quoted product. Bizman gives us an immediate cost comparison and alters the cutting list ready for production.
Project document store
“Do you find the Bizmantools project document store useful?”
Yes. Bizmantools allows us to attach any document to a project via the project management screen. It’s much easier to keep track of project documents this way and means that any authorised user can quickly find all the information for a project. We see this as a step towards ISO9000 compliance.

Govender’s has become well established in the glass and aluminium industry locally and in neighbouring territories over the past 20+ years. We cater for the requirements of individual residential properties right up to large corporate and industrial projects as our client list shows. We will never forget our roots in this industry although in recent years we have been increasingly involved in large, high-tech applications of glass and aluminium. Versatility continued
Yes. For the last 3 ½ years we have used the freehand re-usable template system to quote on all types of product including buy-ins. The more templates we create the faster we get. Items like P & Gs have been handled using the program’s manual line type.
We have recently received the new interactive drawing module that will speed up estimating for all standard products. The 2D drawing system is very fast and we expect to be able to create our own drawing “kits” to cover more than just the standard products.
Large Projects continued
Yes. The fact that 2 or 3 of us can collaborate and share work over the network helps a lot. Also, after the initial work is done, we can very quickly revise materials and suppliers to tune the quotation as we wish.
Bizman also enables us to link one quote project to any number of client principals so we keep everything together and save time when the same project comes to us from more than one client.
