Our company uses materials from many suppliers and Bizman enables us to rapidly update existing pricelists and create new suppliers in the system and import their pricelists quickly.
Purchasing

Bizman makes it easy for us to check the store for available stock before creating manual purchase orders and can even look for usable off-cuts before creating automated purchase orders. The program creates alerts for any orders placed with unreasonable prices and also checks that supplier prices agree with our order prices.
Outwork Purchases

Bizman saves us time by automatically creating linked orders to our preferred powder coater when we buy Aluminium to be coated elsewhere.
Stores management

The program alerts us to stock materials that need re-ordering and creates respective purchase orders automatically with one click. We require supplier’s invoice documentation with all deliveries and the program alerts us to any variance against our purchase order quantities and pricing at the point of entry to our company.

Our Project managers are able to view all purchases made on their projects and drill down to see what has and hasn’t been delivered…

Stock taking
“What benefits do you get from Bizmantools in regards to stock taking ?”
Bizman has features that make this chore manageable for us. It creates spreadsheet stock capture files that receive the stock count and which can then be automatically uploaded after approval. It can also import our own manually created stock take spread sheets. Because the resolution of stock take issues can take some time, another good thing is that after setting the effective stock take date, we can continue using the system normally while the stock take is finalised.

Govender’s has become well established in the glass and aluminium industry locally and in neighbouring territories over the past 20+ years. We cater for the requirements of individual residential properties right up to large corporate and industrial projects as our client list shows.

We wanted to increase control of our raw material inventory and this was simply not possible with Pastel Partner due to the complex nature of raw material usage in our industry.
Bizmantools’ understands our inventory model but is not an accounting system. We are now able to incorporate the inventory control and accounting side in our business with Bizmantools managing our inventory from purchase orders and receiving to issue and allocation, and enabling us to easily reconcile price and delivery details, after which it posts Supplier Invoices seamlessly into our Pastel Partner accounting system.
Project management continued
Our Project managers are able to view all purchases made on their projects and drill down to see what has and hasn’t been delivered. They can take this further to see who received what and when, plus what has been issued out of store to whom, by whom and when. Bizman’s ability to track materials and events helps us settle disputes between quoting and estimating, purchasing, stores and factory.
